Preppers need to include a variety different types of food sources, including dehydrated food, freeze dried foods, canned foods, etc. Dehydrated foods should be included in your mix because they are light weight, tasty, and you usually can eat them on the go, as in a bugout situation. A bag of dried banana chips, or apple chips, can provide ready energy, they can raise morale, considerably.
